Release Roadmap
Moonlight in Garland will be going through several phases of updates and trials before the major release. Each phase will add additional content, areas, tools, relationships, mini games and other fun things to do. The updates are grouped into Alpha, Beta and Full releases.
Below you can see which features have been completed and which are aimed for each stage in the release. These are, of course, subject to change as development progresses and it’s not an exhaustive list.

Full Development Timeline
✅ V 1.1 – Private Alpha
Available on: Desktop (PC and Mac)
Released: 2021
Status: Complete
Info: This is a private proof of concept release of the game.
Content:
- 1 apartment story line (Cedar Court)
- 2 dating candidates (Hannah and George) with 1 heart event each.
- 22 NPCs with 2 levels of friendship
- 2 full exterior areas of the city (Cedar Court, Garland Central) plus 3 additional areas
- 39 full interior areas

- Player character customization (basic)
- 3 kinds of random daily quests via the apartment noticeboards
- Farming (in apartment only)

Info: This was a public release for testers to get a basic feel of the game.
