His current target is Kirin and you and Kirin provide a voice of reason and explain why this is a terrible idea. Finn is unreceptive and later decides on his own to leave the MLM pretending it’s completely separate and had nothing to do with you.

Finn is feeling pretty rough about leaving his entrepreneurs group. He’s slipping into depression over how hard he thinks his life is and how nothing ever works out for him. He bought this expensive computer and he still isn’t passing his classes. Wtf??
You try to give him a bit of a pep talk saying that in the movies he likes the characters have to go through hardship before they get to greatness… maybe this is just his hardship.
He’s unconvinced and asks if this is a romantic thing or you’re just helping him out.

Haruka needs a new computer, she’s been using the same run down laptop since she was 12. She is going to buy a new one but Finn insists that if she buys prebuilt she’s going to get ripped off. He says he will build it for her.
You help find all the parts for it and then assemble it. Finn get frustrated easily and says he regrets offering to help.
Once it’s done though, Haruka is very grateful and Finn blushes.

Turns out his app got bought by a bigger company for a small amount of money so he bought you dinner. He was going to buy some computer parts but instead he wanted something you could both enjoy. Personal growth comes in small steps.
