Building summary
A brand new luxury high rise apartment complex with all the amenities... at least that’s what the developer promised.
Building conflict
The developers (Stephen) advertised the building with full gym, pool, facilities etc. but didn’t mention that it was a guide only. Without renting out the retail space at the bottom of the building there’s no way to pay for it, they can’t even afford to fill the pool! Residents are pretty demanding of perfection as they’re used to the finer things in life!

History and Trivia
Birch Tower was marketed as the start of a new luxury precinct in Garland’s CBD.
The CBD had been struggling as a bit of a cultural wasteland so this was set to bring more of a lively air to the area.
Once completed, the developers left several interior areas unfinished including the ammenities and the unrented retail space. For the OC to be able to finish the works they will need to find a good long term tenant.

Summary
You arrive in Birch Tower and a professionally greeted by Oliver. He welcomes you to the building and is ready to show you around immediately. You walk through the lobby as he explains all of the facilities and then takes you to your apartment.
It’s pretty small but the view is amazing.
Oliver gives you a welcome basket with a seedling and plant stand then leaves you to settle in. It’s all very professional and ordinary.

Event 1 - Things look bad!
PART 1 - PHOTOGRAPHY STUDENT
Objective
Help Oliver out by taking some photos of the building.

Summary
You arrive at the lobby and overhear Oliver talking to an angry resident on the phone, they want to know when the gym and holo deck and going to be ready. He remains professional and says he’s doing his best to get things running asap.
After hanging up he sighs and notices you. He explains that before they can furnish the amenities they need to rent out the retail space. For some reason it’s not selling!
He was going to take photos to give to Ryan to make it better but he’s no good with technology. He asks for your help. You go outside and take the photos.
Oliver gets a call from the weekend manager and has to rush back inside to deal with an emergency. You offer to take the photos to Ryan and he accepts.

Summary
When you arrive at the Real Estate agency Ryan looks at the photos. Stephen is there and is surprised that no one has rented the place yet. He notices there’s a typo on the ad, the price has 2 extra 0’s! Ryan spilled energy drink on the price and was hoping that someone would pay it for his big commission.
Stephen decides to rent it out himself, he has a project he’s been thinking of and he lives in the building so he’s really just funding his own gym.
Oliver arrives and is pleased to see that everything has worked out in the end. You consider if you might have a career in real estate and Ryan quickly says no, there’s only room for 1 top seller in this city!
